Wu Shanshan


Assistant Researcher at the College of Architecture and Landscape , Peking University. Earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she also completed her postdoctoral research. As a research assistant and key member of Professor Yu Kongjian's team, she has long been engaged in coordinating and supporting major research initiatives. She has been deeply involved in the organization, implementation, and process management of projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program, Water Special Project, National Key R&D Program, and multiple industry-sponsored projects. Her responsibilities encompassed critical phases such as proposal evaluation, progress and budget coordination, documentation archiving, and research outcome refinement, demonstrating robust project management and team collaboration skills. He was deeply involved in establishing the “Key Laboratory of Water Ecology Protection and Water Heritage” hosted by the institute, responsible for platform construction support and daily operational coordination. He assisted with student and team management, ensuring efficient research organization. His primary research focuses on water ecology and urban wetland performance evaluation, ecosystem services, and ecological planning. He has published related academic papers and contributed to scholarly works such as the monograph Urban and Natural Ecology, demonstrating both research capabilities and scientific management skills.
