We are deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Kongjian Yu, a visionary leader whose pioneering work has shaped the global discourse on landscape architecture and sustainability. Through his dedication to advancing knowledge for ecological resilience and harmonious urban living, he has left an enduring legacy that will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.
We truly appreciate the contribution and key note section delivered by Professor when Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM) on organising International Federation of Landscape Architects IFLA World Landscape Architects Summit 2020. The landscape design philosophy of Professor about sponge city and nature based solutions have great fully inspired the landscape architects from Malaysia and around the world.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all who have been touched by his wisdom and contributions.
