年北京大学博士研究生国际专题学术研讨会

——国土空间规划与城市治理优化[预通知]






  

会议简介

“北京大学博士研究生国际专题学术研讨会”主要由国内外优秀在校博士研究生和博士后组织和参加,为青年学者提供一个交流研究进展、获取研究评论的开放性研讨平台,鼓励博士研究生建立和发展更多的国际学术联系,培养综合素质,为未来的学术发展奠定基础,至今已经成功举办10届。研讨会每年围绕一个主题展开,今年将以“国土空间规划与城市治理优化”为主要内容,反映该领域研究进展,整合各方研究资源。


会议主题与目标

人类世(Anthropocene)背景下生态安全危机凸显,可持续发展任务艰巨。在推进国家和全球治理能力现代化的过程中,如何合理配置空间资源,通过理论构建、概念创新、工具改进特别是大数据和人工智能等手段实现治理优化,是中国以及全球在空间治理方面需要解决的迫切议题。会议围绕国土空间规划、国土生态修复和城市治理优化等维度,聚焦相关的理论、方法和技术体系构建,以期为上述议题提供理论洞见,尝试找到解决方案。欢迎从多学科、多角度切入该主题,探讨多元相关议题。


本研讨会建议参会报告者以当前正在开展或即将开展的研究计划为报告内容,已经完成的研究成果同样可被接受,报告内容将以海报展示和汇报展示两种途径呈现。本次研讨会期望达到以下效果:


1. 促进同一主题下不同学科、不同角度的思想理念之间相互启发与沟通;

2. 帮助参会者获得其他研究者的建设性反馈。(除了参会人员之间的学术讨论,每个参会报告者可提名一位希望获得研究建议的会议嘉宾,北京大学将帮助参会者积极联系相应嘉宾)

3. 帮助参会者结识特定研究主题下的潜在学术合作者,建立青年学者的国际学术网络;

4. 帮助国外研究者获得中国研究的进入途径,以及实现学术合作的可能性。


会议日期

本次研讨会拟定于2020822-823在线上举行。研讨会将包括专题讲座、参会报告者研究计划海报展出、参会报告者研究计划汇报与讨论。会议工作语言为英文。请有意参会报告者提前与我们联系,并于2020810前提交英文报告摘要,以及个人学术简历至邮箱pkulaconference@163.com。最终报告名单将于8月中旬公布。

        邀请相关领域全球著名学者为与会者做主旨报告,并与学院老师一起点评和指导与会博士研究生们的报告。与会导师名单将适时更新。

2020 International PhD Academic Colloquium on

“National Spatial Planning and Urban Governance Optimization” in Peking University



Introduction


At the “International PhD Academic Colloquium Program of Peking University”, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers around the world may come together to build professional connections, to discuss featured issues, to exchange resources, and to share experiences. The colloquium has been held continuously for 10 years since 2010; the topic of this year is “National Spatial Planning and Urban Governance Optimization”.

Theme and Goals


In the context of Anthropocene, ecological security crisis has become prominent and sustainable development is an arduous task. As the promotion of modernizing national and global governance capabilities, it’s an essential issue to rationally allocate space resources and optimize urban governance through means such as theoretical modelling, concepts innovation, tool improvement especially big data and AI. Both China and the world have the need to address above space governance issue, which starts from building a theoretical system of national spatial planning and urban governance optimization. The colloquium will include concepts, methods and approaches applied to creation of this new system in China and the world. Other related issues will also be welcomed.



We sincerely advise participant to present a research proposal in progress or to be executed; published research results are also acceptable. Each research will be presented by a poster and a report. We aim to help tackling these topics through a variety of offerings to the participants:


1. Receiving constructive feedback from other researchers (Every participant is encouraged to name a senior researcher whose comment you wish to hear from on your research. PKU will help you contact them).


2. Seeking potential academic collaborators on your research topic from our global academic network for young researchers.


3. Obtaining feasible academic access to China (PKU will be honored to host foreign researchers who are interested in doing research in China).


Date


The colloquium will be held on August 22nd – 23rd 2020 online. The conference will consist of lectures, presentations, and discussion sessions. The working language will be Chinese and English, while the conference language will be English. Please submit your abstract and other materials before August 10th, 2020. Only applicants whose proposals are selected will receive a confirmation email. Curriculum Vitae should be sent to pkulaconference@163.com. The final list of participants will be announced before August 15th, 2020.

Submission Requirements:


1. The abstract should be written in English;

2. The abstract should contain the research questions, background, objectives, methods, conclusion, etc.;

3. There should be 3~6 keywords provided;

4. The total word count of the main text should be from 300 to 500. The writing should be clear and concise;

5. Author information should include name and gender, school and department, major, professor’s name, email address;

6. In addition to the main text of the publicity manuscript, it is optional to provide a specific research plan with up to 10 figures and/or tables. Exhibition space will be provided to display these resources. All the material should be clear and in high quality, with a resolution of 300 dpi at least;

7. Please submit all of the above materials to pkulaconference@163.com;

8. Deadline: August 10, 2020.
