关于北京大学-哈佛大学生态城市联合实验室：
联合实验室（EUC）成立于2014年，由北京大学建筑与景观设计学院联合哈佛大学设计学院共同主办，致力于研究中国城市生态问题，并指出中国城市未来的发展应该尽力减少对环境的破坏和各种类型的污染——包括视觉上的，保护海洋生物、植被及地貌，节约自然能源，运用可持续的景观设计技术，适应当地生活方式和经济发展模式。联合实验室将在未来继续通过对不同地理、气候、文化及经济特征的中国城市对比研究，建立起中国城市生态数据库，最终为中国城市未来发展模式提供更全面、深入的理解，并提供一整套可行的发展方案。

Several positions for Research Associates are available at Peking University to work on the Ecological Urbanism Collaboration (EUC). The EUC is a collaboration between Peking University College of Architecture and Landscape and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. It is a research initiative that supports researchers working on topics related to ecological urbanism and rapid urbanization in China.
The EUC contributes to this field of knowledge by studying cultural, social, and economic issues in Chinese cities and towns; landscape architecture and urbanism; urban infrastructure; and green buildings and sustainability; among others. The project will also support researchers and faculty by enabling the international exchange of ideas through occasional conferences, seminars, and workshops organized by the EUC. Researchers will work on projects that produce scholarly articles and develop design solutions and planning strategies for urban problems that have the potential to improve the quality of life in cities globally.
Position Description:
Working under the direction of a Principal Investigator on Harvard-PKU research projects, Research Associates will provide independent intellectual contributions towards research, which may include running experiments, recording data, performing quantitative analyses, documenting evidence, conducting literature searches, and preparing drawings.
Minimum recommended requirements for a Research Associate appointment include one or more of the following criteria:
Appropriate academic credentials, typically indicated by a master's level degree
Specialized expertise or practical experience, ideally at least one year of research experience in a related field.
Professional proficiency in English; ideally proficiency in Mandarin
Full-time position. Appointed at least one-term (six months) to several years, renewable dependent upon research funding.
Starting Date: Negotiable. The EUC is looking continually for motivated researchers to add them to a growing team of Research Associates.
