Condolences on the Passing of Professor Kongiian Yu
Dear Colleagues and Family of Professor Kongjian Yu,
On behalf of Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), we wish to express ourcondolences to you on the tragic passing of Professor Kongjian Yu. His loss is felt by allof us who had the honour of meeting him.
Some months ago we had the privilege of visiting you in China. We sharedexperiences about our work in hydromechanics, urban water management andsponge-city ideas, and Professor Yu kindly gave us a copy of his book, which has beena source of inspiration for our team here in La Plata. UNLP is committed to carryingforward the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and respect for ecological principles whichProfessor Yu embodied.
To his family, to his students, to his colleagues at Peking University, please receiveour deepest sympathies.

惊悉俞孔坚教授溘然长逝，阿根廷拉普拉塔国立大学（UNLP）全体同仁深感痛惜。谨代表我校向贵校及家属致以最深切哀悼。
今春访华期间，俞教授亲赠其著作，书中关于水力学、城市水管理及海绵城市的真知灼见，至今仍启迪我校实验室团队。UNLP将永记俞教授所倡导的生态协作精神，继续践行其创新理念。
