"I'm an architecture and urban planning student at UNAM, Mexico. I was deeply inspired by Professor Yu on how our cities can look like being sustainable and offering great public space as well. When I discovered his work it astounded me notoriously and made me want to specialize in the subject of sponge cities in the future. I believe Professor Yu was exactly the kind of architect and urban planner the world needs, instead of many other superfluous ""starchitects"" devoted only to real estate speculation. Luckily, Professor Yu taught us that it is indeed possible to change our cities for the sake of nature and people.
